For time: 75 toes-to-bars 5-mile bike 75 chest-to-bar pull-ups 5-mile bike Time cap: 50 minutes Venue: North Park For the bike portion of this event, athletes will leave the North Park and ride 5 laps of a 1-mile course.

For time: 30/25 Echo Bike calories 10 block HSPU 20/15 Echo Bike calories 10 block HSPU 20/15 Echo Bike calories 10 block HSPU 30/25 Echo Bike calories Women: 2-in deficit Men: 3.5-in deficit Time cap: 10 minutes (men), 12 minutes (women) Venue: Coliseum In this handstand push-up athletes will start by walking up the wall and onto an elevated block. They must then lower their head off the block to their deficit height without touching their head to the floor, then press back out to the top of their handstand.

21-15-9-9-9 reps for time of: Squat cleans Dips with parallel bar traverses Women: 95-lb cleans Men: 135-lb cleans Time cap: 12 minutes (women), 10 minutes (men) Venue: Coliseum During each round the dips must be split into 3 unbroken sets, with each set beginning with a traverse of the parallel bars. Meaning, the first round will be a traverse then 7 dips, a second traverse then 7 dips, and a third traverse then 7 dips, for a total of 21 reps. The round of 15 will be broken into 3 sets of 5 dips, while the rounds of 9 will be broken into 3 sets of 3 dips.

Athletes must alternate arms on the dumbbell snatches. This event will be performed in two overlapping heats, with the one heat working during the other heat's rest period.

Every 2 minutes: 50-yard swim 8-cal Ski Erg* *Add 2 calories each round for 6 rounds, then complete as many calories as possible for rounds 7 and 8. Time cap: 2 minutes per round, 8 possible rounds Venue: UW Pool The 50-yard swim will be 25 yards down then 25 yards back. The required calories completed on the Ski Erg will increase by 2 each round for up to 6 rounds. If at any point an athlete fails to complete the calories, they are done, and their score will be the total number of calories completed up to that point. Athletes who make it through the 18 calories in the 6th round will then complete 2 more rounds, this time accumulating as many calories as possible.

1-rep-max sandbag-to-shoulder Women: Bags from 160-250 lb Men: Bags from 240-340 lb Venue: Coliseum Athletes will work their way through a series of progressively heavier sandbags, lifting the bag to their shoulder. Once they cannot lift the bag, they are out, and the other athletes will keep lifting. Athletes who fail on the same bag will complete a tiebreak race with 3 sandbag lifts.

Shuttle to Overhead B will be the total number of jerks completed across the 3 rounds.

Time cap: 18 minutes Venue: North Park Athletes will start with a sled loaded with 6 kettlebells. They will progress down the field, unloading pairs of kettlebells as they go. Once to the other side, they will complete 2 rope climbs and then 20 kettlebell clean and jerks with the first pair. They will then load the kettlebells into the sled and push it down field to the second pair of kettlebells. After going back for 2 more rope climbs, they'll do 15 clean and jerks, load the sled, and continue down field. After 2 more climbs and 10 clean and jerks with the third pair of kettlebells, they'll push the fully loaded sled to the finish line.

For time: 20 Pig flips 3.5-mile run 200-m Jerry bag carry 200-m Husafell carry Women: 350-lb Pig, (2) 70-lb Jerry bags, 150-lb Husafell Men: 510-lb Pig, (2) 100-lb Jerry bags, 200-lb Husafell Time cap: None Venue: Begins in North Park and finishes at the Capitol building. Athletes will begin with Pig flips at the Alliant Energy Center and then will run across town to the Capitol. There, they will perform farmers carries with the Jerry bags and Husafell carries down State Street, finishing on the steps of the Wisconsin State Capitol building.

Event 10
FLOW At the call of "3, 2, 1 ... go," athletes will move to the first pull-up bar and complete 30 toes-to-bars. Athletes will then run two laps before heading to the rig for 30 more toes-to-bars. Athletes then complete another two laps. When athletes return to the stadium for the last time, they will complete the final 30 toes-to-bars before sprinting across the field to the finish line. SCORING 100-point event The athlete's score is the total time taken to complete the event. In the event of a time cap, athletes will be ranked based on the number of completed repetitions.

FLOW At the call of "3, 2, 1 … go," athletes will complete 1 pegboard climb, then 7 single-arm dumbbell overhead squats, and 15 double-unders with the heavy rope. Athletes will then move their rope forward and return to the wall. Athletes will continue this sequence completing as many reps as possible until the 11-minute time cap. SCORING 100-point event The athlete's score is the total number of repetitions completed within the 11-minute time cap.

Event 12
FLOW Athletes will be called up to the first two platforms based on current competition standings, from last to first. The first two athletes will have 20 seconds to lift the first load. If they are successful, they will move to the designated area. If they are unsuccessful, they will move to meet a judge at the tie-break area. When all athletes have attempted the weight, the unsuccessful athletes will race to complete 3 squat snatches, then sprint to the finish platform to determine the tie break. The weight on the platforms will then be increased. The next round will begin in the same fashion. When the field of athletes has been reduced to 10 or less, athletes will lift one at a time on the large platform, and the lifting window will extend to 30 seconds. Athletes will continue lifting and racing for tie breaks until all athletes have established a rank. If only 1 athlete misses at a weight they do not have to complete the tie-break race.

Event 13
FLOW Athletes will begin on the GHD with their hands on the foot pads. At the call of "3, 2, 1 ... go," athletes begin 20 GHD sit-ups, then move to the cheese curd and complete 8 curd cleans over the hay bale. Athletes then pick up the yoke and carry it as far as possible until time expires. Athletes will have 1 minute to return to the GHD when the next round will begin. Athletes will continue in this fashion until they carry the yoke over the finish line. Time stops when athletes carry the yoke into the white end zone. SCORING 100-point event The athlete's score is the total time taken to complete the event. In the event of a time cap, athletes will be ranked based on the number of completed repetitions.

Event 14
FLOW At the call of "3, 2, 1 … go," athletes move to the bar and complete 6 deadlifts, advancing the bar after 3 reps. Athletes then move to the first handstand push-up line and complete 1 freestanding HSPU, then walk on their hands to the next line, complete 1 rep and continue in this fashion until they have completed 6 reps. Athletes will then move to the next bar and repeat the sequence for 10 reps (moving after 5 reps), and finally one more sequence at 14 reps (moving after 7 reps). SCORING 100-point event The athlete's score is the total time taken to complete the event. In the event of a time cap, athletes will be ranked based on the number of completed repetitions.

Event 15
FLOW At the call of "3, 2, 1 ... go," athletes start rowing. When the distance is complete, athletes move to the rig and complete 90 chest-to-bar pull-ups, moving forward after every 15 reps. Then, athletes put the bar in the back-rack position and begin lunging. After crossing ⅓ of the field, athletes move the bar to the front rack. After crossing ⅔ of the field, athletes move the bar into the overhead position. When athletes cross the line, they will drop the bar and advance to the finish. SCORING 100-point event The athlete's score is the total time taken to complete the event. In the event of a time cap, athletes will be ranked based on the number of completed repetitions.

Event 9
FLOW After the call of "3, 2, 1 ... go," athletes will move to the first bike and complete 21 calories, then advance to the first bar for 21 snatches. Then, athletes will move forward to the second bike for 15 calories, then the next bar for 15 snatches. Finally, athletes will move to the third bike for 9 calorie, then to the final bar for 9 snatches. After the final snatch, athletes will drop the bar in front and step or jump over the bar to the finish. SCORING 100-point event The athlete's score is the total time taken to complete the event. In the event of a time cap, athletes will be ranked based on the number of completed repetitions. After this event the field of athletes will be cut to 30 men and 30 women.

Events 6/7
FLOW At the call of "3, 2, 1 ... go," athletes will run out of the coliseum, around the course, and back. Once athletes are back in the coliseum, they will return to their lane and complete 1 clean. Then, athletes will complete the next run, progress to the second bar, and complete 1 clean. Athletes will continue in this fashion for 5 rounds. Time stops once the final lift is complete and the athlete moves to the platform. After all heats of the first couplet have finished, Event 7 will begin, which is the same format with heavier weights. All athletes will compete in both couplets. SCORING 100-point event (each) The athlete's score is the total time taken to complete the event. In the event of a time cap, athletes will be ranked based on the number of completed repetitions.

For time: 1-mile run 100 handstand push-ups 200 single-leg squats 300 pull-ups 1-mile run W 14-lb. vest M 20-lb. vest Athletes must wear a weight vest. Reps must be completed unpartitioned — i.e., all 100 handstand push-ups must be completed before moving on to the single-leg squats, etc. Scoring Every event will be worth up to 100 points, and athletes earn points based on their finish (see chart). After Stage 1 (Sept. 18-19), the field will be cut to five athletes and the scores will be reset for the Final Stage (Oct. 23-25). At the end of the Final Stage, the athlete with the most points is the winner. Athletes who tie receive the same number of points. If athletes fail to complete an event within the time cap (for timed events), their score will be capped, and they will receive a 1-second penalty for each rep not completed.
